International Visitor Programme (IVP): Dagmara Wyskiel
Dagmara Wyskiel is an artist, curator and co-founder and artistic director of the SACO Contemporary Art Biennial (Chile), which currently has an open call for artists.
Last week we had the pleasure of hosting Dagmara Wyskiel as part of OCA’s International Visitor Programme. Wyskiel visited Lofoten International Art Festival (LIAF), as well as Tromsø, Kirkenes and Oslo during her stay. Wyskiel is an artist, curator and co-founder and artistic director of the SACO Contemporary Art Biennial (Chile), which currently has an open call for artists (Deadline: October 29).
The next Biennal edition, SACO 1.2 is titled ‘Dark Ecosystems’. The Biennial will run from June to September 2025, emphasizing the link between art and science, inspired by the resistance of the extremophiles that inhabit the Atacama Desert.
The main evaluation criteria for visual artists applying is the quality of the proposal, its viability and relevance to the Dark Ecosystems-curatorial concept and the place where the selected works of art will be exhibited: the Melbourne Clark Historic Dock in Antofagasta, Chile.
