New Support Scheme
International Visitors Programme for Institutions is a new pilot scheme proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

International Visitors Programme for Institutions is a new support scheme proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a pilot and part of their wider effort to simplify, professionalise, and consolidate their international delegate programmes within the Norwegian Arts Abroad network.
The support scheme is intended to expand international connections by enabling Norwegian visual arts institutions to host curators, critics, press, researchers, institutional leaders, and other art professionals from around the world.
By supporting structured professional visitor programmes, the scheme aims to deepen global networks, increase international visibility for artists and art institutions in Norway, and foster meaningful exchanges across borders. Expert visits play a vital role in shaping long-term collaborations, developing curatorial research, and opening pathways for new projects and international opportunities.
Through this scheme, OCA seeks to ensure that incoming professional visits continue to serve as an important meeting point between Norway and the global contemporary art field.
