Visitors 2007

Jan Freuchen is an artist working with installations, drawings, sculptures and constructions. Freuchen reconsiders human achievements in the light of a non-linear, dynamic theory where natural processes and the feedback loops of contemporary cultural expressions provide the fundaments for his deconstructive artistic practice. He holds a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bergen, Norway and Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Among Jan Freuchen's recent exhibitions are: Lights On, Astrup Fearnley (2008), and Self Assembly, Erik Steen Gallery (2007) in Oslo, Norway and Destroy Athens, 1st Athens Biennial (2007) in Greece.
