Martin White (born on unceded Gadigal and Dharug lands in Sydney, Australia) is an artist, researcher and writer who often deals with complex and sprawling legacies–political, social, ideological, and cultural legacies. White holds degrees in Performance Directing at the VCA - University of Melbourne, Fine Art Honours at RMIT in Melbourne, an MFA from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and is a current PhD candidate at the Art Academy of the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Prior to working as an artist he worked in community arts, as a performance director and in film and television.
