Marianne Hultman

Marianne Hultman is a curator and the director of Oslo Kunstforening (OK) in Norway. OK presents a varied range of exhibitions that reflect current tendency’s in Norwegian and international contemporary art. OK collaborates with institutions in Norway as well as abroad. A number of the exhibitions Hultman has curated have been traveling exhibitions. In 2018 she was one out of five guest curators at Dakar Biennale in Senegal.

Over the past five years Hultman has worked with artists such as: Anawana Haloba, Walid Raad, Joana Hadjithomas & Khalil Joreige, Gavin Jantjes, Fujiko Nakaya, Camille Norment, Lina Selander, Sandra Mujinga, Eline McGeorge, Magnus Wallin, Inger Grytting, Franz Schmidt, Sofie Hesselholdt & Vibeke Mejlvang, Heli Rekula, Carl Michael von Hausswolff & Leif Elggren, Judy Chicago, Runo Lagomarsino, Moataz Nasr, Akram Zaatari, Uriel Orlow and Céline Condorelli.

Between 2002 and 2007 she was curator and head of exhibitions at Norrköping Museum of Art in Sweden. Hultman has edited and been a contributor to exhibition catalogues, books and magazines. She is currently working on three publications, one on Fujiko Nakaya and Ukichiro Nakaya, one on the exhibition «Nordic Delights», shown in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland in 2016 and 2017 and a exhibition monograph on Eline McGeorge. She regularly teaches at Art Academies and Curatorial Studies in Norway and Sweden.
